Kim Johnson

Kim Johnson is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Massage Therapist. She has a special interest in muscle imbalance and sacroiliac joint pathology. Kim is a very “hands on” physiotherapist, with a wealth of experience in manual therapy techniques. She has written articles on pelvic girdle pain, for the National Childbirth Trust, as well as articles on cervicogenic headache, massage in palliative care, chronic pain conditions, hypomobility syndromes, trigger pointing and osteo-pathologies. Teaching is her passion and she has tutored many students both in the clinical setting and academically as well as promoting CPD to a variety of health professionals.
Kim gained her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Brunel University then undertook postgraduate study at Leicester Medical School focussing on anatomy and dissection. She has trained in Modified Pilates at the APPI, Vertebral Manipulation, Soft Tissue Release, Sports Injury Rehabilitation and studied with Inspire to gain her ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage. Kim has worked in three NHS trusts across England as well as in the private sector. She is also a mean cook so watch out Heston/Gordon and co!
