I was lucky enough to have a very fun, very crazy and very successful career in television for many years and for the most part I enjoyed it very much.  However as time went on it became apparent to me that something just wasn’t quite right, there was a nagging feeling of restlessness, that I wasn’t truly fulfilled.  It took a few more years and a few different job roles for me to know that what I needed couldn’t be found where I was looking.

I still can’t quite remember what made me sign up to lean ITEC Anatomy and Physiology but one sunny day in September I found myself sitting at a desk being handed my syllabus.  I do remember that it was while learning the unit on skin that I knew I wanted to go on to study Beauty Therapy so I could learn how to work with the skin further and hopefully give help and advice to those suffering with problematic skin, (as I had experienced myself in the past).  It was while studying Beauty Therapy that I discovered massage, and yet another piece of the puzzle fell into place.  I knew straight away that I wanted to study for my massage diploma, and with a bit of luck I had been told about Inspire and had even done a couple of one day courses for beginners with them.  So it was a no brainer really and after an encouraging conversation with Annalisa I was signed up and ready to go.

Yet again I have been very lucky.  I still sometimes have to pinch myself when I tell people what I do for a living.  To have found something that feels so right and so natural, that I have passion and respect for and for that to be my work is the most amazing feeling.
