Booking Terms & Conditions
Confirmed Bookings
When you make a confirmed booking, Inspire will check the course status, treat your confirmation as an order and acknowledge its acceptance by automatic email.
Provisional Bookings
- When you make a provisional booking and pay a deposit, a place will be reserved on the course.
- To retain your place on the course, you must pay the balance of the course fee 10 days prior to the course commencement date. This can be paid online (if booked via the website) or by telephone.
- On acceptance by Inspire, the booking will be treated as an order and we will issue confirmation appropriate to the chosen payment option.
Upon receipt of your confirmation, attending instructions will be sent to you. If for whatever reason payment is not received, attendance at the course will not be permitted.
Payment Terms - 1 day courses
Payment is due when you make a booking; in full for all our one day courses. Where full payment is not received at the time of booking by the participating student, Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd. reserves the right to charge an additional £10 booking supplement per head per course booked.
Payment Terms - courses longer than 1 day
The deposit is due when you make a booking. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. The balance is due 10 days prior to the course commencement date. Payment is due immediately should the booking be made within 10 days of the course start date. An instalment plan may be offered at the discretion of the company however, the full fee remains due unless we have received written cancellation more than 10 days prior to the course start date. If you agree to the instalment plan and pay by card, there will be a 3% charge on all instalments (not on the deposit).

Only cheques which have 'cleared' will be treated as received. If the customer fails to make any payment when due, Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd. reserves the right to levy a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 2% per month accruing daily from the date the payment becomes due.
Requirements
For practitioner certification, therapists must sign a form confirming that they hold ITEC or equivalent NVQ level 3 in A&P and Massage and that they are professionally insured. You may be required to produce evidence of this.
Certificates
Following successful completion of the course you will be given verbal feedback by your tutor on the day. When you have signed the attendance record and successfully completed the course you will be sent the appropriate level of certificate (attendance or practitioner). In the event of your being unsuccessful which will be determined by your tutor, written feedback and an action plan will be provided to help you achieve success on a subsequent occasion.
Cancellations - 1 day courses
All payments are non-transferable. A refund of 50% of the course fee will be repaid if cancellation is received in writing prior to 10 days before the course. Course fees for cancellations within 10 days of the course date will not be refunded.
Cancellations - all other courses
Please note, the deposit amount is non-transferable and non-refundable. Course fees are due in full 10 days prior to the course start date. Cancellations will only be accepted if made in writing and received at least 10 days before the start of the course. In this case the course fee less the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations within 10 days of the course start date cannot be accepted and any course fees paid will not be refunded. Any course fees unpaid will remain due in full. Where payment terms by instalment are agreed and written cancellation has not been received at least 10 days before the start of the course, the entire outstanding balance remains due.
For all courses, your statutory rights under Regulation 10 of the Distance Selling Regulations are not affected. Cancellation must be received in writing within 7 working days of the original purchase.
Exam Entry
Entry to examinations is at the discretion of the tutor. This will be based upon satisfactory completion of all written coursework. You will be required to demonstrate your understanding of knowledge and skills both practically and orally.
Course Changes
Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd. reserves the right to improve the specification and format of its courses for the benefit of all its customers without notice. Tutors may be changed without prior notice, to allow for other teaching commitments, leave or illness.
The location and date of the course will be as advised to the customer at the time of booking. Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd reserves the right to change the location of the course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known.
Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known. Inspire will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature. When this is unavoidable Inspire will refund in full all monies paid by the customer, or at the customer's option apply all monies to a rescheduled or alternative course.
Warranty and Liability
The customer accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the courses are suitable for the requirements of the person attending a particular course and that that person has the necessary level of competence and prerequisite qualifications where necessary to be able to achieve the objectives of the course.
Inspire Massage Workshops' liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the course out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Inspire Massage Workshops will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.
Copyright
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all course materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Inspire Massage Workshops Ltd or, in the case of a course developed by a Partner of Inspire, the Partner organisation. You undertake that you will not copy or permit the copying of course materials, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same for running your own courses.
